Ingredients

Scale

Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup pitted dates
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Blend Ingredients: In a food processor or high-speed blender, combine the rolled oats, pitted dates, and ground cinnamon. Blend until the mixture forms a sticky, dough-like consistency that holds together when pressed.
  2. Roll and Chill: Transfer the mixture onto a sheet of parchment paper. Use another piece of parchment paper on top and roll the dough out into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick. Carefully roll the rectangle into a log shape, then wrap it in parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.

Notes

  • You can substitute medjool dates with any other soft dates if unavailable.
  • For a nutty flavor, add a tablespoon of ground flaxseeds or walnuts to the blend.
  • Store the rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • These rolls are naturally gluten-free if using gluten-free oats.
  • Adjust the amount of cinnamon to taste for more or less spice.
